Save your HDAS searches and alerts

Are you dependent on your HDAS alerts? Have you saved your favourite HDAS searches?

You’ll need to move them!

HDAS – healthcare databases advanced search - is being withdrawn 31st March 2022. You will not be able to use HDAS after this date. If you have any saved alerts or searches that you want to keep you will need to move them to the database platforms.

What are the database platforms?

The main NHS databases – such as CINAHL, Medline, Embase, PsyInfo etc – are hosted on the Ebsco, Proquest or Ovid platforms.

Which database and platform do I need?

Check out our etutorial Which NHS database do you need?

How can you access the platforms?

Links to the platforms are available on our NHS Resources page. You will need your NHS OpenAthens username / password to log in to the platforms.
