Who do you work for?

You need to select which organisation you work for to ensure that you get the right links to some major resources. The main page includes links for UHNM staff. Staff working for North Staffordshire Combined Healthcare or GP practices in Staffordshire or Clinical Commissioning Groups in Staffordshire need to select the button to go to the version of the page with their resources - it is laid out the same way.

Search the Knowledge and Library Hub

Page down to the Knowledge and Library Hub section. 

You can search the Knowledge and Library Hub directly from this page using the search box. Enter your keywords and click search. You'll be taken to the Hub interface to view your results. You can focus your results further by using the filter options with in the Hub. Log in using your NHS OpenAthens username to access any full-text content.

What databases can you use for literature searching?

Page down to the Literature Searching via Databases section. 

Complete more in-depth searching by using the databases to run your literature search. You'll find the databases listed by platform. Log in to each platform to search the relevant database.

You can find a wealth of healthcare specialist resources in the A-Z section of the page. Here we list NHS Core Content resources, our library NHS subscribed resources as well as key resources available on the Internet.

You will need your NHS OpenAthens username for some but others are freely available on the Internet.

You can search Library Search without logging in to view books and ebooks available in our collections.
