Execute simple searches across a wide range of resources, select filters to focus your results and link easily to full-text. To get the best experience searching the K&L Hub make sure you log in to NHS OpenAthens first. Log in to NHS OpenAthens on the K&L hub to ensure that you get access to the resources purchased by your organisation, can easily access full-text and link to more support provided by the Health Library. The log in link is available at the top of the page, on the grey bar. Click the text and log in when prompted. OpenAthens is a protocol that allows you to log in to many different online resources using just one username and password. It is a service purchased by the NHS so that all NHS staff can easily access online resources such as ebooks, articles, journals, databases and clinical tools. Accessing NHS resources on the Keele network

 We know that many of our NHS staff use Keele University networked equipment to access both university and NHS-based resources. This may be via Keele networked computers, wifi access or Keele University logins. You need to be aware that this can have unintended consequences to your access to NHS-based resources. If Keele University has the same subscription, for example to an online journal or database, or even a subscription with the same publisher / provider, then this may negatively impact on your access to NHS resources. What will happen? Usually the resource will deny you access to the NHS-based resource. You may get an error page or there may be no obvious information (other than you don’t get access to full-text). What can you do? Check whether you are logged in correctly by looking for the institution logo or text indicating the resource is from your trust or the Health Library. Register for your Account To register you need to  complete the online form . 1. Enter your name 2.
