Follow the download and install instructions on our help page – this is the recommended method for Athens users. 3. You can use DynamedPlus to keep up-to-date with the latest evidence affecting a range of medical topics published in DynamedPlus. You can sign-up for email updates: For a specific topic For all DynamedPlus updates For all DynamedPlus updates that affect practice only For updates to a category For updates to a category that are practice changing only Creating an Alert – step-by-step 1. DynamedPlus is a point-of-care reference tool. It is available for UHNM staff via their NHS Athens username. DynamedPlus includes a range of medical calculators and decision tools. Calculators may appear in related search results and attached to topic pages. However you can also browse through the available range either via checking the A-Z list or via category. Browse by Specialty As well as searching you can use the “Browse by Specialty” option to browse through the topics. Select the option “Browse by Specialty” from the “Spotlight” section. DynamedPlus will prompt you with suggestions; you can either select one of the suggestions or continue with your own text. In this example I have started to enter my text “breast cancer”. Go to the Health Library home page and click the Healthcare Resources link from the Quick Links options. Health Library home page 2. On the Healthcare Resources page either page down until you reach the DynamedPlus link or click Health Library Resources to jump to that section of the page.
