New BMJ titles added to the NHS Core Content collection

 A number of BMJ titles have been added to the NHS Core Content collection this year. This collection is available to all NHS staff. You can access the full-text articles via your NHS OpenAthens username. Check Browzine for easy access to full-text articles

 NHS staff can check Browzine for access to full-text articles - making it easy to check your favourite journals and get the latest research articles. Browzine holds information about our healthcare-focused journal collection, including journal issues, table of contents and links to articles. You can link to open access articles, our subscribed content and request items not available in our collection. Browse through the collection without logging in. Have your NHS OpenAthens username handy when you want to access an article in full-text. You can link to your Browzine collection from our Journals page . Accessing NHS eJournals

eJournals provide you with the latest research as well as articles to support best practice and your professional development. The Health Library and NHS England subscribe to a wide range of healthcare-based journals. How to access Journals Most of our journals are available online. You will need a username and password to access them. This is your NHS OpenAthens username . To register for your username complete the online form . Browse for a journal title Use Browzine to browse for journal titles. This tool contains hundreds of journal titles, including the titles we subscribe to. Search for a title, view the issues and link directly to our subscription. It’s the easiest way to get to our content. For any titles or issues not included in our subscription you will be prompted to make a request – this is sent to our team and they will try to get a copy for you. Links to full-text articles in BMJ titles not working

 There is a problem for NHS users attempting to link to full-text articles in BMJ titles - the links from the NHS Knowledge and Library Hub and Browzine go to the journal archive page rather than the actual article. You will still have access to full-text but must search the journal for the article. This error has been reported and is being investigated. Apologies for the inconvenience caused. If you are having any problems reaching the full-text please contact the Health Library .
