Using the TRIP database - new videos

 TRIP (Turning Research into Practice) is a clinical search tool which can help you to quickly find high quality research evidence to support practice. It searches a range of healthcare resources and publishers and presents results which can be organised in evidence type, such as systematic reviews, guidelines, primary research, controlled trials etc. Access TRIP database is freely available on the Internet. Some features and extra content are available for the PRO version only. The PRO version is available to all NHS staff via NHS OpenAthens username / password. Search Features You can use the Search box to enter simple search terms. You can use boolean operators such as AND, OR and NOT to combine search terms, use phrase searching with quotes and truncation searching using the * (asterisk) wildcard. Erratic problems when logging in to Clinical Key

 We have encountered problems logging in, attempting to log in Key and trying to run a search in Clinical Key. The problems include: missing OpenAthens log in option error on completing a log in error when trying to run searches The problems are erratic. However if you do encounter them Clinical Key support suggest that you try clearing your browser cache and cookies. We'd also suggest that you could try accessing Clinical Key within a private or anonymous window.  If possible please report any problems to the eResources Librarian so that we can monitor how widespread the issue is.  Join KnowledgeShare so that you can get personalised evidence updates, on your specialty, sent straight to your inbox. You can stay uptodate with the latest reports, guidelines, systematic reviews, toolkits and research. We now have a simple online form for you to request a KnowledgeShare profile. Making the most of the NHS Knowledge and Library Hub

 Avoid the hit and miss of searching google and find the evidence you need quickly by searching the NHS Knowledge and Library Hub (the Hub). Complete simple searches across a range of good quality, healthcare-specific, online resources via the Hub and get easy access to full-text. You can check the resources available via the Hub search from our blog post . There are a number of tools linked to the Hub that can help you get the information you need. Using the Hub You can log on to the NHS Knowledge and Library Hub from our NHS Resources page or set up a desktop icon so that you can get there quickly. Looking for a Journal Title Want to check which journal titles we have for your specialty? Check the Journals list via Browzine . Here you can browse through the table of contents of a wide range of healthcare-based journal titles. If we have the issue in full-text you can link straight to the articles. Problems with Oxford Medicine Online Collection

 The Oxford Medicine Online Collection has been migrated to the new Oxford Academic platform. However, problems have arisen resulting in lack of access to the NHS Oxford Medicine Online collection of ebooks from our links on Library Search. The problems are currently under investigation.
