 We know that many of our NHS staff use Keele University networked equipment to access both university and NHS-based resources. This may be via Keele networked computers, wifi access or Keele University logins. You need to be aware that this can have unintended consequences to your access to NHS-based resources. If Keele University has the same subscription, for example to an online journal or database, or even a subscription with the same publisher / provider, then this may negatively impact on your access to NHS resources. What will happen? Usually the resource will deny you access to the NHS-based resource. You may get an error page or there may be no obvious information (other than you don’t get access to full-text). What can you do? Check whether you are logged in correctly by looking for the institution logo or text indicating the resource is from your trust or the Health Library.
