We're changing the organisation of our etutorials

 We are updating the organisation of our etutorials. We'll have only one section called "Information Skills etutorials" . You'll find links here to interactive tutorials, presentations, videos and documents to help you to develop your information seeking skills and learn more about our resources. The "Getting Started etutorials" section will be deleted. All the content here will be moved to the new Information Skills etutorials section. Please contact us if you have any problems accessing our content during the transition period.

Health Library YouTube channel updated!

 You can watch YouTube videos produced by the Health Library to help you to quickly get to grips with our resources and services. You'll find step-by-step instructions and short demonstrations. The channel has now been updated to remove some older videos which were out-of-date or referred to decommissioned resources / access routes. If you have relied on a video and it is now removed, please get in touch . If you would like us to include a particular resource, then please get in touch .

Problems with the NHS Knowledge and Library Hub

 All elements of the NHS Knowledge and Library Hub have now been implemented by Health Education England Library and Knowledge Service (HEE LKS). The Hub is a discovery service allowing NHS users to search across a range of selected resources. You can then either link directly to full-text, when a subscription is available, or make a request for a copy of the full-text. The service uses LibKey Browzine to present full-text options. We are still encountering some problems, so just to make you aware: Print Journal Titles Print journal titles are not being displayed in a helpful manner within the Hub. This means that you can't tell if a title is available on the shelf within the library. This has been reported and we are assured that a fix will be provided [INC-1683].
