Ovid hosts key healthcare databases AMED (for alternative and allied health topics),  Emcare  (for nursing topics), Embase (for pharmaceutical, biotechnology and biomedical topics), HMIC (for management topics) and  Medline  (a general medical database). The following resources can help you to get to grips with searching on the Ovid platform.
