Ebsco webinars for July 2026 - using the new interface for ebsco databases and the NHS Hub

Ebsco are running training during July to demonstrate the new interfaces for ebscohost databases (Cinahl and medline) and the NHS Knowledge and Library Hub. Please feel free to sign up for this free training.

 Advanced Searching new EBSCOhost – Navigation Changes [NHS England]

This 60-minute session will introduce advanced search concepts for searching CINAHL on the new EBSCOhost interface, including a review of the navigation changes, NHS Librarians in England. In this session we will look at keyword and subject searching, use of precision (proximity) operators, combining searches in the Search History and reviewing available options to save, share, download and export search results, as well as saving, editing and downloading searches, according to the new navigation features.

Systematic Searching in MEDLINE on the new EBSCOhost

This 60-minute session will introduce advanced search concepts for searching MEDLINE on the new EBSCOhost interface. In this session we will look at developing a complex search strategy, incorporating wildcards and proximity search operators, running free text and MeSH (Medical Subject Headings) searches, and applying available filters to focus search results.

Exploring the NHS Knowledge & Library Hub – Updated
