Resource of the week #14: New Year Resolutions

Happy New Year to everyone.

This weeks “resource of the week” takes inspiration from the new year and the resolutions we always try to make (and keep). With this in mind here are a few resources to help you to get out and about and involved in the local community.

Opportunities listed via the Local Councils:

Local Groups to get out and about with:

National Initiatives:

  • Do-it volunteering database – check the do-it database for activities and opportunities across the country
  • Action for Happiness – ideas to help you to spread a little cheer; try this calendar (I know it’s for December but you can apply the ideas to any month). If one action everyday seems daunting, start small and try one a week.

I hope you have found something that intrigues you. If you would like to share your own ideas, add them in the comments field below.

Next week we are back to healthcare resources – NICE Pathways.
