Clinical Key events for March 2026

 Elsevier are organising a couple of events of interest for the end of March: essential training on Clinical Key for new users and a Women's Network event looking at women's mental and hormonal health.

Clinical Key (published by elsevier) is a clinical search engine providing key evidence-based resources to staff at UHNM.

Improving the Science Behind Women’s Mental and Hormonal Health

March 31st - 12:00hrs UK & Ireland time; Register for this MS Teams event online.
This International Women’s Day, our panel shines a light on one of the most urgent gaps in modern science: the persistent exclusion of female’s biology from research, with a specific emphasis on mental health. Through key life stages: menstrual cycles, the perinatal period, perimenopause and beyond, we examine how overlooking sex and gender as scientific variables can lead to misdiagnosis and missed opportunities to improve the mental health of women and girls.
Our experts bring different perspectives from research, clinical practice and policy; unpacking and driving a whole sector shift towards more equitable health research.

Login to Library Search – step-by-step instructions for NHS staff

  Library Search is a discovery tool, allowing you to find items within the library collections. You can search Library Search without logging in to view books and ebooks available in our collections. By logging in to your library account on Library Search you can access a range of additional functionality, such as: Viewing details of your library account Submitting a request to hold a book for you Adding items to your e-bookshelf Saving searches Note that for NHS users logging in to Library Search does not give you access to full-text items. As an NHS member of staff you access online resources using your NHS OpenAthens username.
