Our Patient Voices collection gives you access to books written by patients about their journeys coping with a wide range of conditions and diseases. Any member of the library can borrow from the Patient Voices Collection. Access a wealth of online resources with an NHS OpenAthens username

  NHS staff can access a wealth of online resources to support studies, work, continuous development and best practice in patient care. Get access to ebooks, journals, articles, databases and clinical tools with a single username / password –   your NHS OpenAthens username . Register online Complete the online form  to get your OpenAthens username. Move Your NHS Athens Account

When you move to another NHS organisation you can take your Athens account with you, by changing your organisation. You need to make sure that you can log in to your account, ie that it has not expired. You will also need to have details for your new job available, such as your email address and work address. 1. Log in to your Athens account. 2. Select the option to “Change Organisation” Screen-shot Athens Account   3. You need to ensure that your email address will match your new organisation, so update your email first.
