TRIP Pro for NHS Users

The NHS subscription to TRIP Pro has been renewed for 2017. All NHS staff can access the professional version of the TRIP databases via the NHS network.

The TRIP database helps you to find good quality, evidence-based, healthcare information. Content includes:

Systematic reviews
Evidence-based synopses
Clinical guidelines
Regulatory guidance

Your pro subscription also gives you access to extra systematic reviews, clinical trials, medical images and videos as well as advanced functions on the website.

Don’t forget that you need to be logged onto the NHS network to be able to access the pro version.

What is it? Dynamed is an evidence-based, point-of-care, clinical reference tool. Evidence is analysed and synthesised to create information, analysis and recommendations around a wide number of conditions and diseases. Key Features You can search or browse through a wide range of conditions and diseases. Information presented includes: overview, epidemiology, diagnosis, treatment, management, prognosis. Guidelines, resources and patient information may be included. References are included. You can set up an alert for a topic so that you are informed of the latest practice-changing updates. Cinahl is a nursing specialist database that can help you to find good quality articles and evidence. Once you have run a search you can view the list of articles returned. Page Options You can arrange your results in different formats on the page. For example, show up to 50 articles on one page to avoid a lot of paging; include the abstract so that you can check whether the article is about your topic quickly.
